They helped toddlers with arts and crafts projects in an Early Childhood Center classroom; went bedside to read to and play with patients; assembled "family welcome baskets" stocked with toiletries and snack items; and presented soft and cuddly "no-sew" blankets to some of the children. Blythedale President & CEO Larry Levine and Chief Medical Officer Scott Klein, M.D. welcomed the group to the Hospital and provided a comprehensive overview, before attendees embarked on a tour of Blythedale.

"I was truly inspired by the incredible work that takes place at Blythedale Children's Hospital," said Albert Bourla, Group President, Pfizer Innovative Health (pictured at right). "Seeing first-hand their passion and dedication to change the lives of very sick children was very moving. I am so grateful for having been part of this experience, and I hope we made a positive difference in the lives of the children and families we met."

"This was truly a very special morning," said Blythedale President & CEO Larry Levine.

"We are so grateful to our friends from Pfizer Innovative Health for taking time out of their busy schedules to spend time with our patients and staff. We admire their dedication to improving healthcare through innovation, as well as their commitment to serving others through volunteerism."
