Blythedale Children’s Hospital is a pediatric rehabilitation facility specializing in medically fragile children. Included here is an explanation of the types of Ancillary charges that are included in our Daily Rate for Routine Services, for both Acute and Sub-Acute levels of care.
Included in the Inpatient Routine Daily rate for all Acute and Sub-Acute rates are all medical and nursing services, all therapies, including physical, occupational, feeding and speech therapies, physician services, most medications, and room and board, which also includes facilities charges. Additionally Blythedale provides Child Life Services, Therapeutic Recreation and various other ancillary services that are within the purview of Blythedale’s standard programs.
Included in the Outpatient Comprehensive Therapy services are all physical, occupational, speech and feeding therapies, as well as nursing and medical services while on-site during the program hours, as well as administration of medication.
All other outpatient services are on a per therapy basis, and include only the specific services related to the specific outpatient appointment.
