Westchester pediatric hospital plans $9M renovation

Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla, Westchester County, is planning to expand its pharmacy and physical therapy space, as part of a larger $27 million capital project.

The new Therapy Village will add about 6,075 square feet, including a rock-climbing wall, soft flooring, and open and private treatment rooms and the pharmacy will expand to 3,480 square feet.

"We've grown exponentially over the years and have seen more medically complex patients requiring more advanced dose preparations," said Blythedale's vice president of Operations, John Flanagan. "This expansion will give us more space to deliver that comfortably."
