Whitney Wilkerson, MDiv, BCC, NBC-HWC

Whitney Wilkerson, MDiv, BCC, NBC-HWC is Blythedale Children's Hospital's Director of Spiritual Health & Well-Being. She received her Master of Divinity from Naropa University and is an ordained Interfaith Minister.

Prior to coming to Blythedale, Whitney worked as a Chaplain for Atlantic Health System. Whitney is Faculty for Duke Integrative Medicine Center and serves as a community member on a level 1 trauma center’s ethics committee.

Her work is rooted in trauma-informed and evidence-based compassionate care interventions. She offers a nonjudgmental presence to support the emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their family helping them to cultivate meaning, connection and resilience in the mind, body, and spirit.
