Now in its 30th year, the Golf Classic for Blythedale has raised nearly $4.5 million over the years for crucial programs at Blythedale Children’s Hospital.
Proceeds from this year's event will support Blythedale’s unique Day Hospital program. The Robert Stone Day Hospital at Blythedale Children’s Hospital offers a specialized program for children who are able to live at home, but still require a level of medical and/or rehabilitative care that cannot be met by their school or a community outpatient program.
This long-standing fundraiser for the Hospital dates back to 1996 and has grown significantly since longtime Blythedale supporter Carmine Lippolis took on the role of event chair nearly 20 years ago. This year's golf committee includes Isabella R. Autorino, Lou Baldessarre, John Cofini, Kevin O’Shea, Michelle Parinello, Paul Sohigian and Brian Vieselmeyer.
