Whitney Wilkerson, MDiv, NBC-HWC is Blythedale Children's Hospital's Spiritual Care Practitioner. She received her Master of Divinity from Naropa University and is an ordained Interfaith Minister
Prior to coming to Blythedale, Whitney worked as a Chaplain for Atlantic Health System. Whitney is Faculty for Duke Integrative Medicine Center and serves as a community member on a level 1 trauma center’s ethics committee.
Her work is rooted in trauma-informed and evidence-based compassionate care interventions. She offers a nonjudgmental presence to support the emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their family helping them to cultivate meaning, connection and resilience in the mind, body, and spirit.
