Securities
Contributions of appreciated securities provide donors with valuable tax benefits. There are no capital gains taxes on the appreciation. You may also give gifts of cash, securities or a wire transfer through your IRA.
Matching Gifts
By taking advantage of your employer’s matching gift program, you may double or even triple the amount of your charitable contribution to Blythedale. Many employers will match their employee’s contributions to non-profit organizations. If your company has such a policy, contact your Human Resources Department for your company’s matching gift forms. Please submit these forms with your donation. We will complete the contribution section and submit the forms for you.
Tributes & Memorials
Making a gift to help medically fragile children is a fitting way to honor milestone celebrations of family members, friends or colleagues (birthdays, mitzvah celebrations, marriages and graduations), or to honor the memory of the deceased. In making a tribute or memorial gift, please download our Donation Form and submit it with your gift. When making gifts of this kind, please let us know your full name, address and phone number, and indicate the name of the person being honored or memorialized, and the name and address of the person or family who should receive the acknowledgement letter. We will send an informing letter to the individual or family you have designated, informing them that you have made a contribution in honor of or in memory of a loved one. We do not include gift amount information in the informing letter.
In-Kind Gifts
Blythedale welcomes donations of new toys, arts and crafts supplies, video games and DVDs, and other items that will provide entertainment and comfort to our young patients.

Please note that Blythedale has the following donation guidelines:

New, unwrapped items only

No stuffed animals or toys containing latex

No violent toys (guns, knives, etc.)

Video games should be rated "E”

Movies should be rated "G”, "PG” or "PG-13”

Only music without parental advisories
We strongly encourage toys and items for children under 3 years of age, as well as items for teenagers.
