2025 Acrisure Fall Golf Classic Raises More Than $300,000

The 2025 Acrisure Fall Golf Classic for Blythedale celebrated its 30th year, with the successful annual event raising more than $4.7 million over the years for crucial programs at Blythedale Children’s Hospital.
This long-standing fundraiser for the Hospital dates back to 1996 and has grown significantly since longtime Blythedale supporter Carmine Lippolis took on the role of event chair over 20 years ago. This year's golf committee included Isabella Autorino, Lou Baldessarre, John Cofini, Kevin O'Shea, Michelle Parinello, Paul Sohigian, and Brian Vieselmeyer.
Golfers and sponsors helped bring in more than $300,000 for the Hospital's unique Day Hospital, which provides multidisciplinary care and education to children who are well enough to live at home, but still require a high level of medical care that isn't otherwise provided in their school or community.
"We're deeply grateful to Carmine Lippolis, Acrisure and Brian Colby, and the entire golf committee that helped make this event happen, now in its 30th year," said Blythedale Chief Operating Officer John Flanagan, who spoke at the event. "This event has not only changed the lives of countless patients and their families, but also introduced so many new supporters to Blythedale. Carmine's reach is immeasurable and we are honored to be the recipients of such selfless generosity."
During the evening program, attendees also heard from Andrew Padilla, the father of 14-year-old Alex, a patient who was discharged from Blythedale's Day Hospital program in 2025. Alex was initially admitted to Blythedale's inpatient hospital in 2024 for comprehensive rehabilitation following an accident that left him in critical condition. He persevered, relearning how to walk and regain movement.
For Acrisure, being a title sponsor, is meaningful to their organization, as is giving back to their community. Brian Colby, Managing Partner of the New York Region, shared his reason for returning every year.
"Carmine asked us to come in and do a walkthrough of the hospital," recalled Colby. "He was asking if we would be interested in being the title sponsor for this event. From the time we walked in the doors of the hospital to the time we walked out, we were sold in about 10 seconds. It was an unbelievable experience to see those kids. And just to know that we can do something to positively impact them; that's why we're here every year."
