Stephen Beovich

Stephen Beovich is the Deputy Superintendent of the Mt. Pleasant Blythedale Union Free School District at Blythedale Children’s Hospital. Mr. Beovich has been an educator for sixteen years, spending the first seven years as a business education teacher, including five years in a special education setting and the last nine years in administration. This included being named the Superintendent of Schools at Mount Pleasant Cottage School UFSD in 2018, a Special Act district primarily serving students with emotional and cognitive disabilities. While at Mount Pleasant Cottage, he was named the Coalition of the Special Act School Districts vice president and selected to serve on the NYS Blue Ribbon Commission on Graduation Measurers.

Mr. Beovich received his B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University, an M.S. in Business Education and, a C.A.S. in School District Business Leadership from Hofstra University, and an M.S. in Educational Leadership from the Bank Street College of Education.
