This virtual presentation will provide information regarding the benefit of an interdisciplinary approach to assistive technology assessments. During the session, an overview of the different areas of AT will be provided, including: seating and mobility, access, augmentative and alternative communication, and rehabilitation engineering. A look into the important roles of different team members and disciplines will be shared. Discussion about the referral process, evaluation flow, and service delivery will be explained. Goals of collaboration and practical application through case studies will be explored.
