Sara O’Brien, R.D.N., is Clinical Nutrition Manager at Blythedale Children’s Hospital.  She received her BS in Dietetics from the University of Connecticut and completed a dietetic internship, specializing in pediatric nutrition, at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center NICU.

As head of Blythedale’s clinical nutrition department, Ms. O’Brien works with the Hospital’s dietitians to provide patient-focused medical nutrition therapies and individualized meal plans for patients with allergies, dietary restrictions and specialized diets.
