Decsiree Gonzalez, LMSW is a Care Manager in the Health Home Care Management program at Blythedale Children’s Hospital. Decsiree received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Barry University in Miami, Florida and went on to earn her master’s degree in Social Work from Adelphi University.
Decsiree's prior experience has equipped her with a strong knowledge base of adolescent and youth development, family counseling, mental health, and substance abuse. She has experience in developing individualized treatment plans and considering the unique cultural needs of each child and their families. Decsiree is bilingual and can communicate with our Spanish-speaking families in their preferred language. This helps to build rapport with families and allow for a trusting collaboration on behalf of each child.
In her current role as Care Manager in the Health Home Care Management program, Decsiree coordinates care for children with complex medical needs. She works closely with children, caregivers, and providers to help families access services, navigate multiple complex systems, and find support.
