Cindy De Muro

Cindy De Muro serves as Director of Human Resources at Blythedale Children’s Hospital. In this role, Ms. De Muro consults with senior management in the strategic planning and development of HR strategies and activities to support the Hospital’s business needs. She is responsible for oversight of all applicable human resource compliance and survey requirements of the Joint Commission, CMS and NYSDOH. She manages the full spectrum of HR services, policies, procedures and functions of employee relations, labor relations, recruitment, retention, benefits, compensation, performance management and employee recognition and engagement.

Ms. De Muro has more than 19 years of experience in Human Resources, having most recently served as the Director Human Resources at Stamford Health Medical Group which includes over 125 physicians and 400 support staff. Ms. De Muro began her career as an Employment Specialist at Phelps Memorial Hospital. In 2007, she accepted the position of Human Resources Partner for Allied Health at Stamford Hospital. After two years, she was promoted to a Senior Human Resources Partner. In 2013, Ms. De Muro was promoted to Director of Human Resources for Stamford Health Medical Group.  

Ms. De Muro holds a Master of Business Administration from Iona College and a Bachelor of Science from Concordia College.
