Special Events

There are many ways to support the children of Blythedale, particularly through our special events:

Gather with friends at an elegant spring cocktail party.

Hit the links and play a round of golf.

Win a signed guitar or a one-of-a-kind concert experience during a live radio broadcast.

All of Blythedale’s events directly support the programs and services that affect the lives of medically fragile children and support their families. We invite you to join us at one of our special events.

Scott & Todd in The Morning - WPLJ 95.5 FM Holiday Broadcast. For the last 20 years, Scott & Todd and the Big Show crew have broadcast their final live show of the year from Blythedale.  The 20th Anniversary Broadcast, which was held on December 21, 2011, raised more than $150,000 and included  performances by Rob Thomas, Gavin DeGraw, Matt Nathanson, The Fray, Holiday Express and PLJ's house band. Contact Lena Cavanna, Director of Community Relations, at  lenac@blythedale.org or (914) 831-2410 for more information or to make a donation in support of the event.

Spring Event. Blythedale’s annual spring cocktail party fundraiser is a popular and elegant affair. In 2011, our fourth annual party was held on Friday, April 29 at Life in Ardsley and raised more than $200,000 for our new inpatient hospital building. Nearly 300 guests honored 99.5 FM WPLJ’s Scott Shannon and Todd Pettengill for 20 years of philanthropy for Blythedale’s children.

Save the Date for Blythedale's fifth annual spring fundraiser on April 17, 2012!  We will honor Larry & Randi Cohen at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers.

Annual Golf and Tennis Classic. A day of golf and tennis at one of Westchester’s best country clubs. Our 15th Annual Golf & Tennis Classic on Monday, September 12, 2011 at Sunningdale Country Club in Scarsdale was a great success, raising more than $200,000 for the Hospital.
