Scientific Advisory Board of Blythedale Children's HospitalAt the Mt. Pleasant – Blythedale School, each day is a dynamic interplay of therapy, medical care, school and recreation. All children receive daily medical and nursing care, physical, occupational and/or speech therapy, as well as appropriate medical consultation based on an individualized treatment plan. Children in grades kindergarten through 12 attend school accompanied by their medical equipment. A compassionate, specially trained and certified instructional staff helps students deal with academic and social challenges. Educational programs are based on individual needs and range from activities of daily living to Regents high school courses. All special subjects, such as technology, art, music and library are also part of the school program. The district is governed by the Regulations of the New York State Education Department. Students can earn a Regents or a Local or an IEP diploma in a state-acredited high school.

Tuition
Mt. Pleasant-Blythedale is a public school district. New York State residents attend tuition free. Tuition is paid by the home districts for students from other states.
