The Dreyfus Golf & Tennis Classic for Blythedale, held on Monday, September 10, 2012, was a great success, raising $225,000 for Blythedale’s Parent Transportation Program. The program helps families with limited resources access transportation to the Hospital to participate in medical-care meetings, discharge planning and training related to their child’s care.

"Helping families throughout a child’s hospitalization through the Parent Transportation Program is absolutely vital to our mission and core purpose, which is to improve the health and quality of life of medically fragile children.”

The event marked the 16th annual installment of the fundraiser and was held on the elegant and beautiful grounds of Sunningdale Country Club in Scarsdale. The Classic featured a full day of golf, a putting contest, raffle, auction and dinner. Stanley Cup Champion Mike Richter returned to serve as the event’s Honorary Chair and auctioneer for a second year.
