Get Involved at Blythedale Children's Hospital: Corporate Partners in Care Program

Corporate Partners in Care Program

Blythedale Children’s Hospital developed its Corporate Partners in Care Program in response to a growing desire from the surrounding corporate community for increased opportunities for involvement with the Hospital. By sharing time, talents and a wide variety of resources, mutually beneficial partnerships are formed between Blythedale and corporations based in Westchester, as well as New York City and Connecticut.

Components of the program include:

  • Corporate Day of Caring
A customized volunteer event that is planned for visiting corporations. Activities are uniquely suited to meet the interests and resources of the corporation, as well as to foster a sense of teamwork. Volunteers have the opportunity to work hands-on with patients, or assist on various projects throughout the Hospital. Blythedale Children’s Hospital has hosted groups from JP Morgan Chase, Disney Publishing Worldwide, Pepsi Bottling Group, Goldman Sachs, XL Capital, Dannon, Kohl’s, IBM, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and more. Previous corporate volunteer events have taken the form of a medieval feast, a circus, and a winter carnival, with themes limited only to the imaginations of the volunteers.
  • Speakers Bureau
Blythedale Children’s Hospital offers a variety of medical and clinical professionals who are available to speak on a wide range of children’s health topics of interest to parents at corporate sites. Presentations have been made on topics such as sports injuries and prevention, learning disabilities, disciplining children, raising children in a competitive world, and adolescent eating disorders. Please check our list of current Speakers Bureau offerings.
  • SAFE KIDS Program
As the local coalition leader for the National SAFE KIDS Campaign, Blythedale offers myriad resources on injury prevention. Such opportunities include CPR training, Car Seat Safety Checks, Bicycle Safety Fairs and more. Hospital staff is available to set up safety stations at corporate sites, as well as at Blythedale.
  • Funding Partnerships
Many funding opportunities are available for corporate sponsorship, as well as numerous naming opportunities. Through corporate grant programs and donations from individual employees, the Hospital is able to obtain the philanthropic support necessary for critical services, special projects and new programs.

It is the goal of the Hospital to develop a program that is not only mutually beneficial, but informative and enjoyable. Blythedale Children’s Hospital feels it has much to offer the community, and likewise, the community brings so much to the Hospital’s young patients. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children.
