State of the Art Inpatient Hospital at Blythedale Childrens Hospital

A unique feature of our new hospital building is decentralized nurse stationing in our patient care areas, placing nurses closer to their patients on each unit. A network of nursing "pods” equipped with the latest technology, including wireless monitoring, serves a cluster of four patient rooms (five in the Traumatic Brain Injury Unit).
