Advocacy and Wellness at Blythedale Children's Hospital: Children's Health Advocacy Network

Children's Health Advocacy Network

Blythedale Children’s Hospital continues to pursue an ambitious Public Policy Agenda at both the national and state level on behalf of all children with special health care needs. Hospital representatives facilitate interactions with public officials by employing a variety of advocacy efforts including:

  • Creating programming and educational materials to keep hospital employees and friends updated on child health issues
  • Overseeing the Blythedale’s Children’s Health Advocacy Network
  • Supplying information on how to contact and communicate with public officials
  • Meeting with legislators in Washington D.C. and Albany to discuss Blythedale’s Children’s Health Advocacy Network
  • Facilitating tours for public officials and staff who wish to visit Blythedale
